first of all u must install ur driver first, after u've installed the driver, u can start configurin' ur sound card. first of all let's probe the sound card n' detect which module is suitable for the device by typin' this in terminal (as root):
83h0m8@fuckn:~# alsaconfidentify the device u've n' pick the correct module! If ur sound card is detected by the ALSA driver, it'll ask whether the module will be put in some file so it would be called at startup. U'd say yes, or else u'll have to manually load it after the system boot up.
Next, try to configure ur volume settings by typin'83h0m8@fuckn:~# alsamixer
You can start tunnin' ur volume n' other things. When u're done, exit by usin' ESCAPE key. To save ur settin', type:
83h0m8@fuckn:~# alsactl store
Ur configuration is saved n' in the future boot, the system will try to restore ur settings by callin' alsactl restore command at boot time.
